A Florida woman has sued the Disney Corporation after she was attacked by a large bird that nests at Disney's Polynesian Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, outside of Orlando. The woman was walking on a wooden dock at the Polynesian Resort, where guests can take a boat across a lagoon to Disney's Magic Kingdom or other parks. According to the lawsuit, the bird "dive bombed" her and struck her very hard in the head. The woman claims that she suffered herniated discs in her neck and a traumatic brain injury in the bird attack. The lawsuit claims that Disney was negligent in not keeping the area clear of large birds that might have a propensity to attack people during nesting season.
